I would describe this colour as "pink mocha.

I would describe this colour as "pink mocha." It's a very neutral, natural-looking colour that you can't go wrong with as it won't clash with anything. I'm very happy with the application and the staying power. Some OPIs are formulated better than others, and this is one of the shades that resists chips very well. I used it with the Deborah Lippmman top & base coat (the 2 in 1) and the mani lasts for a few days without chipsvery rare for me. I'm surprised one reviewer said the colour was not classy, as I find it to be very elegant. I suppose colour is a very subjective thing.

Bought it at a whim , I expected it to be more pink than brown . Turns out to be more brown , like milk chocolate . The application is perfect , relatively thicker consistency and streak free . However the colour does not suit me , reminds me to reddish bricks , almonds ... Something reddish brown . Suitable for work but I feel that the colour is not very classy .

I wanted a shade that I could wear to work but not an in-your-face color. I absolutely love this color. It pops but not too much. The color is a combination of brown/mauve/plum and is quite neutral. It also has a beautiful shine to it. I will definitely purchase this shade if I can find it. I've heard it's hard to find. Update: it has been over a week since I got my manicure. Love love love this polish color. My left hand looks like day one of manicure. My right hand minor color shrinkage. I have never had nail polish look this good this long. Amazing! This definitely is my HG everyday color!

Java Mauve-A is sort of a neutral brown with an unusual warm pinky tone to it that looks lovely on me. The formula is really thick and covers completely in two coats. This is a great color for everyday and would blend with most clothing colors. It looks especially nice with earthtones.

This polish seemed like a really good everyday color, but it ended up being a bad choice.

This polish seemed like a really good everyday color, but it ended up being a bad choice. It took forever to dry, even with Seche Vite on top. The application was terrible and so streaky. It was thick and goopy, even with only 2 coats. The brush was also really thin for some reason, not like many other OPI polishes. As another reviewer said, there are a ton of other polishes that are similar to this color that are much better quality.
