I'm really surprised that the other reviewer had such problems with the formula. For me, it went on smoothly and easily without any streaking at all; maybe she got a bad bottle? Sweet Carmel Sunday is a very pretty metallic-foil bronzey rose gold which is subtle enough to wear to work even if you work in a conservative environment. BTW, some bloggers have mistakenly called it Caramel; the name actually references Carmel-by-the-Sea, a beautiful beach town in California (it's very dog-friendly too).

In the bottle, a very pretty gold-bronze. On the nail a streaky, unforgiving formula that morphed to a rose gold color on my warm skin tone. I used a base coat and top coat, was very careful in application, and could not avoid streak lines. Using a top coat seemed to enhance the imperfections of the streaks, like a microscope! Not flattering at all. Oddly enough, this color seemed flat without any sparkle or micro shimmer... It's like using foil-leaf, if you know what that is. I took it off after about an hour, and I plan to return it to Ulta. Not all that glitters is gold. If you really, really like this color (this color looked bad on my warm skin tone), then consider (and read reviews of) Worth a Pretty Penne from the Venice collection instead. It's somewhat similar in color, and has a completely different finish. That would be my advice.
