This colour is stunning and oh so appropriate for the holiday season! Underneath The Mistletoe from Mariah Carey's holiday collection is a gorgeous true red jelly polish laced with pinky/purply/silvery glitter. It looks best with 3 coats it brings out the full deepness of the colour and prevents visible nail line but is passable in 2 coats if you are in a rush and aren't fussed by visible nail line. It applies easily with no streaks or patches. I also had no issues with removal, it came off easily and the glitter was not messy or hard to remove. It dried quickly and to a shiny finish. It wore for 4 days when paired with base and topcoat. This colour would suit all skintones I believe, as it appears to be universally flattering. I would highly recommend this shade though it is hard to find now. It is a perfect Christmas colour and I will continue to pull it out year after year. Love it!

this is a pretty red with subtle sparkle. It has typical OPI lasting power and goes on smoothly. I love that the sparkle is not over done....it does take extra scrubbing to remove

This sparkly deep red, jelly is beautiful! I am currently wearing it on my nails with OPI's Malaga wine on my toes, and they look great together. In fact, UtM looks pretty much identical to Malaga wine, but with a lot more dimension from the subtle purple/pink glitter in it. I'm usually not into glittery polishes, since a lot of them tend to look "unprofessional" or "too over the top for the workplace," but this formula has the just the right amount of glitter in it. It's very classy, sexy, and absolutely perfect for the holidays.

This is a great holiday nail polish color! OPI is my favorite polish because of the quality and lasting power. Under The Mistletoe from the 2013 Mariah Carey Holiday Collection is a cranberry jelly red with pink and silver glitter. It looks really pretty and festive. I have already gotten a ton of compliments on it and I've only been wearing it for a week! If you are tired of all the red creme shades this is the color you need to buy!

From the Mariah Carey Holiday Collection 2013, this is a pink-red glitter suspended in a deep red jelly base. I've heard a few people call this "candy apple" red, and that's not a bad description. It's got great depth of colour (as jelly polishes often do) and it's a nice, rich, deep red. The glitter in this is more subtle than you might expect based on how it looks in the bottle, but still quite visible, even in low or indirect light.Application is good, and the polish dries reasonably quickly between coats. Full opacity in two coats, but I think if you were careful with application, you might get a nice look with one even coat (it would be somewhat sheer, of course). This might also be used as a layering polish, due to its translucency. Removal is absolutely straightforward, no glitter hassles at all.Just to note, I compared this to China Glaze Ruby Pumps because that, too, is a red jelly glitter and I was curious to see how alike (or not) these polishes might be. They are similar, but Ruby Pumps is a somewhat brighter red than Under the Mistletoe, and the glitter in RP is more prominent. UtM is a deeper red, and while the red glitter is still certainly present and visible, it's not as... well... glittery. You could think of this polish as a kind of more subdued, darker, sexy older sister to Ruby Pumps, I suppose. (I think it's worth having both if you're into red glitter jellies; they're different enough to warrant that.)I've found the Mariah Carey line kind of hit or miss, and some of the polishes are pretty ordinary, but this one is a winner. Well done, OPI!
