Recently, I was weeding out polishes that I have had for years when I came across this polish. It is so old the label on the bottom had turned yellow. It is a very--and I mean very--sheer, barely there yellow gold. This polish came out even before there were any really nice golds to choose from, and since I am a fan of gold polishes for the summer, I picked this up as a last resort and never used it. BUT as a topper, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. On any of those "stone" or griege colors, I imagine this polish would turn them into stunners. I had on Essie Sand Tropez topped it with this, and it is stunning. On darker stone or griege colors, this polish would be even more transforming. It has micro gold glitter. I would even wear this during the day, and I'm not real adventurous with day glows. I am so glad I decided to retry this because this because it was headed for the trash. I understand why OPI still sells this. I may have to pick up another for backup. P.S. I was going to pick up Zoya Jolie and Tasha based on a nail they had shown on their blog. It was stunning, but this over Essie Sand Tropez gave me the exact same look--a illuminizing tan glow. I tried it over Sally Hansen Almost Almond (which is paler than EST), and the yellow gold is a bit more pronounced transforming it into more of a night color for me.
