Highlight is from Orly Smoky 2014 Collection. It's a very light grey cream polish. I bought a set of 4 miniatures and in all honesty Highlight was the one I was not looking forward to trying. Usually whites and light/milky polishes don't go well with my skin tone, they somehow bring out pink in my hands. But actually I was very pleasantly surprised, it looks very elegant and it's unique in my collection. The 1st coat went on streaky, but the 2nd one evened everything out perfectly. It looks clean by itself, but it is also a great base to stamp over, as it goes with so many different colours. It lasts well too; because it's so light the edge wear it not visible.I am seriously considering getting the full size bottle.

The previous reviewers treated this polish as a regular polish and it is not a regular polish, it's a topcoat. It is not meant to be worn alone. This topcoat looks AMAZING over dark colours, especially black. I love to pair it with blue (put it on top of OPI's Road House Blues = loveliness) and purple as well. It will also give a nice subtle, glittery sheen to lighter colours. I plan to do some experimenting with it and a couple of China Glaze's holiday shades. I really love this topcoat and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to jazz up their dark polishes.

I was disappointed with this. I wish they'd named this something else, because their Glitz and Glamour polish was what I'd hoped to be ordering when I bought this online. I googled swatches of both polishes and got the same pictures each time, so I figured they might have renamed it at some point to take out the 'and glamour' part. Glitz and Glamour is what I wanted, but unfortunately it is not the same as Glitz. Glitz is still pretty, but it does not look all that flattering on me because of the foily finish whereas glitz and glamour has more of a sparkling finish. I now mostly use this for leopard print and accents :< It was a poor choice on Orlys part to make two very similar polishes have very similar names and make it impossible to tell which youre ordering. It's a pretty foily gold, but I wanted the sparkly version.

I picked this up at Sally for $1.99. It looks like a pale violet with crazy iridescence but it's actually a clear topcoat with subtle green and pink shimmer. You have to be out in the sun to really see it light up. I put it on my bare nails and it's not noticeable indoors. But it'd probably look great on a black polish. Love the grippy rubber top.

Orly Twilight is a pretty but extremely pale sheer lilac polish with iridescent microfine shimmery glitter in the bottle. On the nail it's an almost total dud. The lilac tone barely shows up and the same goes for the glitter and that was after four coats. Basically this is nothing more than a topcoat and a not-so-great one at that. I added this over a pink creme polish that needed sprucing up (after trying it alone to see what it would look like). It added a little bit of sparkle (with three coats of Twilight) and toned down the harshness of the pink creme just a "hair." However, it dried to a dull finish to so it definitely needs another topcoat on top of Twilight to make it shiny again. All in all, there are other, better sparkly topcoats that I could use instead so I won't be repurchasing this one.
