Essie Playing Koi is a rusty orange from the Fall 2016 collection. It's a really unique color and was quite flattering. Very fall appropriate but not a color I would consider wearing year round. I found that the application and wear gave me no trouble. The finish was fairly shiny without a top coat. I did notice it dried a little darker than in the bottle. I actually put this on my toes first and wore it for an entire month and it did not chip at all. Not that my toes get a lot of wear in the winter... but still quite good. I don't think I would repurchase this because I would not wear it frequently enough.
