Love!! This shade is gorgeous and I don't have anything else exactly like it. From OPI's Iceland Collection for Fall 2017, Suzi & the Arctic Fox is a smoky, nearly-black, purply charcoal brown with a creme finish. Similar to Essie's Smokin' Hot but much darker, this shade is so perfect and rich-looking on the nail. It's a welcome addition to my collection and I'm so glad I bought it!Excellent formula with this one. Opaque in two coats but you can really get away with just one. And I got great wear out of this polish as well.Awesome polish overall and I'd definitely buy it again!
Pretty color but falls a bit flat. Looks black at times but under some lights looks like a deep chocolate brown. Looks best when light hits it and you can see a purple tinge. Reminds me of chocolate gravy with a purple mixed it. Weird but still like it just not in love. This came from the Iceland collection and the best from that is Less is Norse. Glad I tried it but a bit ordinary. Also looks like Essie Smokin Hot but this is darker. Applies great though.
Suzi and the Arctic Fox is a blackened eggplant purple. In daylight it looks dark dusky purple and indoors it reads as dark (not not quite black). Dries a little darker than what shows in the bottle. It's a creme formula and was an easy formula to work with. Covered perfectly in 2 coats and leveled really well. Personally I was disappointed by how dark it reads. This might be a good color for people who are fans of the almost-black look.
I am a massive nail polish collector and wear almost every colour of the rainbow though I am still intimidated by vampy dark shades. However I picked up Suzi And The Arctic Fox as part of OPI's Iceland mini-size collection and fell in love with the way this vampy, dusty, purple-black looked on me. The colour is unique, a combination of purple, black and grey. It has a slight dustiness to it which adds interest. It is a clearly 'not-black' colour, deep but not gothic. I think it would be very flattering on all skin tones. It has a lovely formula, opaque in two coats and applies easily with no streaks or patches. It wore on me for 5 days when paired with base and top coat standard wear time for OPI polishes. It also did not cause any nail or cuticle staining on removal. I really enjoyed wearing this shade and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lovely vampy shade, or who wants to try a staple colour from the Iceland collection.
