HOLD LEVEL 2 This heat-activated hair gel formulated with memorizing polymer complex helps to shape or blow-dry hair the way you want and keep the look up to 48 hours.
I have been using this gel for over 10 years! It's by far the best hair gel I've come across and after all these years, still the one I reach for at the store everytime. Plus it's a lot cheaper than the top brands that did nothing for my hair.I have thick curly hair which is not so easy to maintain and I have tried pretty much everything for curly hair, you name it! I've tried curling creams, hair oils, frizz eaze, hair mousse, hairspray, etc, etc, etc! Although the hair oils are great at maintaining friz, those products alone have never been able to control my curls, until I found New Wave gel. The gel doesn't leave a white, flakey residue when dry and comes out in the shower with ease.My only hang up would be that Priceline have stopped stocking it and now am on the hunt to find it again.
In general I've been very impressed with Wella Color Charm hair coloring. But I have a strong undertone of red in my hair that is downright impossible to remove. I'm still chasing the white neutral blonde look, and I'm too broke to go to a salon. I realized later on that I didn't use enough of this product to give a fair review. Will report back.EDIT: I bumped my rating on this up a notch, because I just realized that I require a double formula of hair coloring (a lot of hair), I probably did not use enough of this drabber to do anything. The Wella manual suggests 2-4 capfuls. Will report back.
This helps to give me root lift. NB I have to use a finishing spray otherwise it won't hold (my hair is fine so I have to use a finishing spray no matter what product I use) Its pretty cheap around $4.00 and I find if I leave the lid off for a while so that it becomes a little "tacky" and loses its clear texture, that's when it is at its best. I have tried more expensive gels $15.00+ that do not even come close, so it is a staple for me
