This is a beautiful brown shade. It is far from muddy and has a strong red undertone to it. It is a cream shade which makes it more sophisticated looking. The opacity is good 2 coats get the job done.It works well if you add some gold glitter to the tips as an ombre or a top coat for a pop. It does not chip very quickly either. This is a great n/p for the holidays.
I love this stuff. It is on my toes right now. A dear friend who is also my favorite pedicure buddy bought me my first bottle. Now we both own one because we go through these bottles like nobody's business. I have never worn it on my hands, having taken off my acrylic nails for a while before discovering Coconut Kiss and going natural for a while ugh but I am sure it would be just as gorgeous on one's hands. Every time i Kick my feet up on a hassock or bend over to do some sun salutations, CK makes me happy. It wears very well too. 5+ stars.
i love purples but this wasn't one of them. its med-darkish with 0 shimmer, never glows with a topcoat and a cross between cool and slitely warm toned....usually resembles grape soda. i think its more dull than vibrant. it goes on streaky, bubbles up and chips on the edges of my long nails. there's nothing fun, interesting or unique to make it stand out. rather tan getting compliments on its kept getting insults..exp; "what a dark, boring, ugly color". purged it.
Love this purple polish! Has a really shiny finish, almost metallic. It went on very sheer the first coat, but second was almost opaque and third definitely was. It looks like a very royal purple, goes perfect with gold! Overall a great China Glaze nail polish.
CG Coconut Kiss! I love this fun purple shade! It's the first purple nail polish that hasn't made my med olive skin look "dead". The color is what I'd call a "crayola purple" (true toned medium purple, similar to that of a Fanta grape soda can, with a beautiful magenta shimmer -which I can regretfully only see in sunlight). I think it's the magenta shimmer (bit of red) that makes this purple so wearable for me, (vs blue-toned purples which are horrible on my skintone). Application was smooth, and so far (3rd day of wear) no chips! :)
