I like gold nail polish in general and Gilded Treasures is definitely one of my favorites. It's gorgeous with 2 coats. I maintain a medium tan during summer and these glimmering gold shades add nicely to the sunkissed look. I also use this polish as my base color when I do my favorite leopard print nail design.
If you like golds, this will be a must-have for you. If you're like me and you're "ify" on golds, it could go either way. Its a lighter opaque yellowish gold with lots of sparkle. I got really good coverage in 2 coats and the application was very smooth. I'm just not sure how good this really looks with my fair/neutral skintone. I'll keep it for now and experiment with layering.
A nice light opaque gold polish with subtle sparkles infused in it. Nothing special but it's a pretty good color. It's more of a yellow gold than a taupe-y gold or something like that.
This is a beautiful gold, one of the best I've tried so far. The color is a pale yellow shimmery gold, with silver flecks in it, making it look like there are little "buried treasures" in the polish. The flecks are small enough that they don't look to blingy, instead it's a sublty sparkly, shimmery polish. Applies fairly sheer, I like to wear 2 coats of this, 3 coats for it to be opaque. Love China Glaze formula in general, very easy to work with. I'm very fair-skinned, and I think Guilded Treasures would look a little better on someone who had tan or olive skin. I don't see myself wearing this all the time, but I would probably repurchase if I ever ran out.
This is the perfect gold for me (for reference, NC25, olive skin). Gilded Treasures is a pale frosty gold with subtle silver micro-shimmer flecked throughout. It's not too yellow, and not too orange or bronze, but just a beautiful pale gold. The silver shimmer gives it a little bling and a nice sheen, and helps to balance the gold. One coat covers somewhat sheerly, two coats is fairly opaque. I have a thing for yellow/gold polishes, and this one is definitely my favorite so far.
