Really like this color! It's a warm, brownish-rose color. Opaque in 2 coats. Very pretty for toes, a nice medium-dark color that looks very polished and a little more formal or feminine. Smooth application is a plus.

This is a fab retro (but never dated in my opinion) browned brick rose.

This is a fab retro (but never dated in my opinion) browned brick rose. This is what I always wanted Revlon's Teak rose to look like a rustic-antiqued rose minus all the pink tones. Alot of these shades were produced by companies in the late 70s and early 80s and would have been named 'tobacco rose' or something retro of that nature, and they are often deemed frumpy or mumsy shades but I love them they are so flattering on a pale yellowy toned complexion and don't make my cuticles look red and sore like most rose or red tones will. Very similar in style and tone to OPIs hard to find 'crepes suziette which I also adore). Fast drying and super shiny makes even recently shortened nails look classy and elegant,

I just began stocking up on some fall Essie shades.

I just began stocking up on some fall Essie shades. Brownie Points is a shade that doesn't jump out at you in the store. I debated on if I should get it or not but so happy I decided to get it. It is not doo doo brown. It is a rich rose brown. Beautiful shade and looks very natural on the nail. This could very well be my all time favorite Essie shade. The formula of Brownie Points is thin and goes on very even & smooth. The shade is extremely pigmented and one coat gives high color saturation.

    Love the colour.

Love the colour. Great neutral, non-bright and yet not at all boring shade of creme red that tends very slightly towards both brown and pink. somehow it's just classy and not boring. love it. i love the wear of essie as much as or more than OPI but rarely find a colour i like. but this one i love both on my fingers and toes.
