I have used this polish for several years and it can not be met. Have suggested this polish to many others and they, too like it. Last time I ordered three of the polish just in case this particular color is no longer available. Again thanks for it. Dorothy
E Hampton cottage is a nice color however it was alittle weird going on - I’ll wait longer in between the two coats I normally wear for any color-
I absolutely love East Hampton Cottage for my summer toes; beautiful 🌷
I bought a bottle of East Hampton Cottage for $4 at TJ Maxx. It seemed to be marketed as part of their bridal nails collection but I think it's a pretty, wearable color for everyday. As other people have said, while it's a very light milky, pearly pink in the bottle, it is lighter on my nails. The brush is small, but I found it easier to apply with this brush compared to some larger nail polish brushes that gloop everywhere. It was streaky with one coat, but with two coats it's not completely opaque, but almost the iridescence and texture actually reminds me of the inside of an abalone shell, which I like.I've been wearing it for about 5 days now (with 2 coats and a top coat) and it's starting to chip a little bit on my right hand (which I use for most work/tasks), but my left hand is still almost perfect. It definitely seems to be holding up better than some other nail polishes I've used (which start to chip pretty badly after 3-4 days), but it could also be that the chips are harder to notice with this color since it's so light.I think it's a pretty color and a good addition to my nail polish collection I had a similar shade with a silvery-milky tone but I didn't have one that's warm pink.
It's frosty white and difficult to apply. I will use it underneath other colors since Essie poishes stain my nails yellow.
