Fearless is a very striking color, a bright tomato-red cream with no shimmer or glitter. This was fully opaque in two coats (which is a relief as most of the Essie polishes I have tried recently are streaky) and although it dried with a shiny finish, I much prefer the added gloss that SH Insta-Dry gives when I add it as a top coat. It is by far the brightest color I have worn on my nails and I am a little self conscious when I wear it. However, this is such a pretty color that I will be wearing this as long as I can this summer. Lasting power is pretty good and I will definitely use this again. Well worth a try if you like brights that aren't neon!
I hate to be harsh, because I love the color but seriously this is one of the goopy-est nail polishes I have ever used (messy is an understatement!). It beads up on the brush and 'goops' over your nails similar to really old polish. After two coats on my toes it looked even, but due to the thick application it took ages to dry. Trying to put it on thinly wasn't really an option, the colour didn't stretch very far. I wouldn't buy again the colour isn't very unique.ONE PROdue to the goopy-thickness it gives your nails an almost gel-finish.. hides ridges and imperfections well. My toe nails almost look fake.
Essie polishes have never been my favorite, but I have quite enjoyed the 2012 fall collection. Head Mistress is dupable, but is still a beautiful deep red color, perfect for fall and winter alike. I'm currently wearing this on my toes. 1-2 coats will do it, but as I've found with some other essies, this polish can be a bit messy. I like the color though, very chic and classic. Good wearing time.
Gorgeous tomatoe red/orange color, with a creme finish.. I bought this on clearance at Ulta for $3.50. Im a nail tech, and everyone loves this color. If you are a red orange polish fan, this is a must for you. I dont normally like Essie's formuals but I find their darker shades like this work great, especially on the feet. ( i prefer thicker polishes like opi, china glaze, etc for nails) Cant say enough about this color!
Fearless was a recent limited edition Ulta release (Essie #591), and I got it CPed by a great MUAer :) It's a vivid, hot red-orange creme, not too far off from the colour of a traffic pylon. It has a thick, creamy texture and applies very smoothly. This is one of my favourite oranges, and I'll be wearing it on my toes this summer!Pics:Nails continued >>
