This is a beautiful peach! The texture is thick and creamy which I love for opaque color. I did 3 coats but I could have gotten by with 2. (My skills in application are not on par with a professional manicurist.) Some of Essie's nail colors are sheer and thin and difficult for me to apply. This one gives rich coats of color. It has the same kind of texture as "Cute as a Button," which I also love. That is a brighter and deeper shade, definitely coral. But not as dark or fuschia as Essie's "Peach Daquiri." Then I finished with Essie's new gel top coat.I know I'm splitting hairs when I talk about differences between orange, coral, and peach. But I didn't like Essie Resort Fling that much because it looked like orange sherbet. A Push-Up pop. Serial Shopper is also straight-up orange to me. I prefer corals, a blend of pink and orange in harmony. In my opinion, Cute as a Button is a perfect coral. And to me Peach Side Babe is a perfect true peach, just barely pink, just enough to stop it from being orange sherbet. Closer to angelskin coral. Some would say peachy pink. Some would say light coral. Light but not pale. Cheery enough to be noticed, but not loud.A lovely Spring/Summer shade, but I'd wear it year-round. I hope Essie keeps making this one. It's a keeper.
