This is a life saver! I have an oily scalp and had to wash my hair every 2 days, it looked lank even after 1 day. When I washed my hair there was tons of it in the plughole. It would grow back but never get beyond a certain length before it would start falling out again. My hair just looked so thin. Last year having started peri-menopause I noticed the hair around my forehead thinning dramatically. I was mortified, I thought I'd be bald soon. My hairdresser recommended Nioxin. She recommended the no. 6 because although I have fine hair she said the no. 6 was more moisturising (I have coloured hair). The first wash I was amazed only about 5 hairs in the shower, if that! It's been 6 months now and my hair is so much thicker. Still no major hair loss and I've noticed new hairs growing back around the hairline. I also don't have to wash my hair as often. I have read reviews where people have had problems with allergic reactions the only reaction I had was with the spray stuff in the kit but that's probably because I used too much. Anyway it was only the first time I used it. Actually I don't use the spray now I just use the shampoo and conditioner. The only downside is, it washes the colour out of my hair quickly but to me that is a small price to pay I'd far rather have hair that's faded than none at all!

so I'm at TJ Maxx and I see this shampoo on clearance for $16 for 33 ounces. The retail price is $42. Who knows. I wash my hair maybe 3 times a week depending and am so sure I have lots of product buildup. My hair tends to be on the thinner dry side. Little past shoulder. I was hesitant because I worried it would strip the color out of my hair and just had it dyed dark brown from being ombre. somewhere I found review and a right after that said it will not strip color out of hair so I figured let's give it a try because the smell was amazingly minty and fresh I couldn't resist it. figured I'd give it a try and use it once a week as suggested. I didn't know what I was expecting but my hair was wonderful afterwards I really was shocked. I don't know if it just took off all the doc in my hair or what happened but I am very very very pleased and thrilled that I found it at TJ Maxx. I'm pretty particular and do not believe in brand name stuff since most of it tends to not work any better for me. This is one item time very happy I purchased. second ingredient is sodium laureth sulfate which I know is supposed to take dye out of my hair which is why I use a sulfate free shampoo. However I'll just use this once a week and take the risk.

i was pretty disappointed in this. i have thin, fine, blonde hair that i constantly keep colored whatever color strikes my fancy. so i get breakage and slow growth at times. this cleaned my hair, but made it very dry and flyaway. it was certainly not moisturizing, but it did also weigh my hair down. finally, the packaging isn't that great. the bottle isn't flexible enough to squeeze properly with one wet hand to get payback-or perhaps i just have weak upper-body strength. :) regardless, won't purchase again.

I've tried many shampoo for greasy hair but this one is the best so far , I have to wash my hair everyday but with this one every 2 days and my hair looks and feel fresh :D also noticed less hair on my brush since I'm using this shampoo . Finally found shampoo for myself .

I used this shampoo for about 5 yrs to help with hairloss. It did help, but left my hair very very dry, and I think there was something in it that made my skin itchy. I kept using it tho, since it got rid of my bald spot. even my hairdresser commented on how my hair became so much thicker. but after I had my kid, my hairloss came back which is normal but it didn't stop falling out, so I had to try something new Hairmax laser comb which worked for me!! also, I went on Accutane which left my hair completely parched, so I knew it was time to switch shampoos.
