NYX Concealer Jar - Glow - #CJ06

I have Baby Pink, I was seduced by the cute tube and light glittery pink colour. The little squeeze brush applicator isn't my favorite. When I put it on it looked very glossy but it also felt super greasy which I couldn't get over enough to keep it on and wiped it off immediately. Even the colour/glitter wasn't very noticeable and overall I was disappointed in this purchase and wont be re-buying or picking up any of the other shades it comes in.

the color cherry (red) is a new hg for me. its the perfect sheer red that you can control the depth of a bit. it has a pleasant mild fruity scent and taste. the consistency is smooth and thick but not goopy and stays on a long time.i like the packaging of the long slender tube with cute print. i didnt think i was a fan of the brush on applicators but this one is very soft and doesnt make a mess at all. nyx is cruelty free and they have some great gems like this one in their collections.

My cousin gave me this lip gloss when I forgot to bring my Nivea lip care balm with me when we went out. After 3-4 times of borrowing it from her, she notices how pitiful I am and gave it. Thank you, girl!Now on to the review. Its just like any other lip gloss I've owned. I love that it doesn't flake my lips. I have a habit of always pursing my lips, obviously the gloss always seems to wear off so I have to apply more often.Sorry, I hate the packaging. A little bit of the gloss already came out when she pulled it out of her ginormous bag. Now when I'm using it, the gloss OOZES out and on to the cap. It's basically dripping. This packaging is not meant to be inside cluttered bags (especially not in my school bag!). Will not repurchase. There are other sturdier packaging in my local drugstore.

I have this in Shangri-La, and really like it. At first, I thought the scent was too much but now it seems to disappear pretty quickly. The scent is a little more citrusy than the Goddess of the Night glosses, which is fine with me because I can't stand the scent of those ones.The color in the sheer glosses are just that very sheer. Shangri-La is a very neutral pink with a touch of mauve (it's not bubble gum or light pink more mid-toned). I feel like this nicely melts into my lips, kind of like the NYC Lip Gliders (I have reviews on those as well!). It is not sticky, does not bleed or do anything funky.

If NYX's Sky Pink & Athena could get together, this would be THE shade. It's a light shimmery pink with lilac undertones. Very pretty layered over darker shades. I do like it on its own but it's a little too light for everyday wear for me. It almost gives me that "mod" look so I would have to wear it with a funky all black outfit. I just layered a lilac lip gloss over it & it looked really pretty. Owwwww! Not so mod, but a little more modern. Nice, light, & sweet. (For reference, I'm an NC25/C3 with yellow undertones)
