I don't know why I picked this color out a while ago I thought it would be very neutral on my NW47. The first time I got it, I was not feeling it. I seemed very burnt orange on me. This color has been colllecting dust in my MU collection for about a year, and I rediscovered this gem. I already knew how amazing the formula was: thick, sticky, and rich (which makes it so long lasting... reminds me of MAC's tinted lipglass in that way). I tried it today and I fell in love. It is very much a deeper, but not extremely deep, warm brick red. It can also be described as terracotta. It has no shimmer as much as I can see, and a natural looking gloss that is not too overpowering. It's very pigmented, but the color can be toned down. Personally, I have to tone it down. I'd consider it more of a "lipcolor" than a gloss, considering the pigmentation, lack of shine, and staying power. It lasts a good 5 hours on me, which is great considering it was very cheap. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell, which I end up tasting somehow, no matter what. It taste disgusting, like cheap crayons or rubber. I can't really explain it. I had to take a lippie off. And this way like that when I bought it. Maybe I got a bad, old, or discontinued batch because my NYX lip products either smell like vanilla or nothing...However, this is a great buy. I'll try to get a picture of Nutmeg!
