This is for the Mega Shine Lip Gloss in 117 Chestnut.

This is for the Mega Shine Lip Gloss in 117 Chestnut. This color is just wrong for me, so I wouldn't buy this shade again. A bit too orange-y on me. It has an almost liquid-metal look, to me. On my hand it looks like a slightly pink/red-toned light copper. The pink/redtone doesn't come out on my lips. The gloss itself is pretty pigmented, my natural lip color doesn't really show. The texture is fairly light, and minimally sticky; perhaps a LITTLE tacky but applies smoothly; applying too much/more makes it sticky and feel heavier. There's nothing especially remarkable about the outer packaging, but that doesn't really matter to me, since there are also no problems with it. I do like the flexible, soft, doe-foot applicator and sweet scent. Since the price is pretty cheap, I feel like it was still worth trying.

Chestnut is a pretty neutral gloss.

Chestnut is a pretty neutral gloss. It goes with almost any look. The color is a warm beige with a hint of pink. It's loaded with warm gold sparkles with a few copper and blue/green sprinkled in too! This is a color that looks great on the lips rather than in the tube. As with all NYX glosses, it does smell/taste strong and rather sticky. But, I find NYX glosses last a long time. This is a nice inexpensive addition for anyone :)

Well this is certainly a heckuva lot prettier on my lips than on my hand.

Well this is certainly a heckuva lot prettier on my lips than on my hand. It was a somewhat frosty, warm-toned light bronze color on my hand (thank you for providing testers, NYX!) but I took a chance anyway since it was only 3 USD. This stuff is quite pigmented, so I didn't need to use much to achieve an extremely pretty and flattering medium caramel peach (no obvious frost on my lips, just a nice shine) that actually looks peach on my rosy lips (which tend to turn everything pinkish). Color reminds me of Smashbox's "Flick" gloss, but without the slight metallic sheen, or a darker version of Chanel's "Glow" Glossimer. This looks great on me without much other makeup on and is, I think, entirely appropriate for both day and night. No visible shimmer or glitter. Texture is really smooth and creamy and comfortable (which means the staying power isn't great, but it's tolerable) and reminds me a lot of the Smashbox glosses, maybe just a tad runnier. The scent is a little chemically, but not strong or that bad. I think I'd definitely repurchase this color and check out other ones. For 2.99, this is worth trying!

This is one great gloss.

This is one great gloss. I am very picky about lipgloss, texture, shade and smell. This really passed the test with flying colors! It's a coppery gold shade. It applies a bit thick at first but not sticky. It smells very slightly like sugar. It has staying power and costs 2.99! I tried using it with Wet'n'Wild 666 lip liner and it makes it a bit rosier. I also tried applying a lighter gloss on top, like the Bonne Bell wand in vanilla, and it makes it a lot lighter.
