I bought this because judging from other people's swatches, I thought it would be a nice soft, nude pink, but it ended up looking fluorescently yet still pastelly cool-coral on me. Eeek! It looks nicer on other people, but on me it was very, very cool toned and too "bright" against my skintone. Weird. I think it's because the skintones of all the people who've swatched it (that I have seen) have been on the more neutral side of warm or maybe more cool toned, whereas my skin is more aggressively yellowish, with some kind of slight greeny olive undertone that makes it hard to pin down exactly... Istanbul made me look quite ill. It's confusing because others here who claim to be warm say this color looks great on them, but I'm definitely warm (even neutral foundations look too pink on me) and it looks frightening. I blame my mysterious oliveness.Anyway, so obviously the color was a fail. But I did like the formula of this product. It felt very soft, smelled like real cupcakes, and was *almost* completely transfer proof. There was very slight transfer. I don't remember it applying very well over itself for touch-ups though, and after wearing it for about 8 hours it became a bit crumbly. But if you're just going to a quick event, hanging out, seeing a movie, dinner with granny, whatever, this is really nice because there are so many great color options and it's very comfortable to wear, not at all drying like most mattes. I'd like to try again with a different color someday.
