Found this on clearance in a TJMaxx, bundled with another color.I bought the two pack for the other color, but was surprised to find that Butterfly Moment was the better of the two.This is a beautiful, shimmery neutral, a peachy pink tone that is perfect when I need my nails to look groomed, but not calling attention to them.It's not much to look at in the bottle, but it's just beautiful on.

I absolutely love this nail polish! A Butterfly Moment looks like a slightly frosty, peachy-gold-nude in the bottle, and applies true to color on my nails. I have a hard time pulling off most nude-colored polishes on my nails with my skin tone (light olive), because it makes my hands look corpse-like.

I'm African American, nw45 in Mac foundation. I love OPI's a butterfly moment. I work in a corporate environment and this color is the perfect nude with a hint of shimmer for my skin tone. The color is almost a pink gold like the demure cousin of the rose gold in OPI's Cozumelted in the Sun, which I also like). Love it. Found it at Peninsula Beauty in San Francisco for half off, so the price was perfect. The application seemed a little streaky, but it melted itself together for great coverage as it dried. Took two coats for a truly opaque look. Applied three coats to one or two nails to get rid of what I thought would be streaks, and you can't tell which nails are double vs triple coated. Would deaf but again. This is my new go-to color. Don't find it at all dated per the other reviewer's comments.

The color is a rosy bronze with small flecks of gold shimmer and it goes on opaque. Two coats are all I need and I get about 4 days of wear before it will start to chip. It doesn't apply streaky at all, which is nice.

I have never considered Mariah Carey to be a style icon so I doubt I would have payed any attention to a collection in her name, had I not stumbled over this little gem. The last couple of years I have been obsessed with those pale, shimmery nails of the 60's, and A Butterfly Moment fits just into that category.In the bottle it looks a peachy pink with gold shimmer, but on the nail it's far more peach than pink, and the shimmer is perhaps more a metallic than a classic shimmer whatever it is, it's GOLD, and this polish might as well fit into the rose gold color category. The more coats you apply, the more pink it gets, but it never loses the prominet golden surface.I am very pale, and the first time I tried this (in the very early spring months), it looked ghastly againt my skin far too peachy/ salmon colored. It's far better now, but I do think this color works best with a tan or on darker skinned persons. I experienced some of the same application problems I had with the neutrals in the Germany collection (Don't Pretzel My Buttons + My very First Knockwurst). The polish seemed thick and gloopy, and the brush separated so much that there were bald spots on the nail after application. I used some (a lot, actually) thinner, and that took care of the problem. I have a feeling this one eventually will end up in the collection of my darker skinned daughter, but at the moment I am very happy with it. I wouldn't rebuy because I look better with a slighty cooler color, but of course the polish cannot be blamed for that.
