LOVE!!! So beautiful and a wonderful addition to my collection! OPI's Pure 18k Gold & Silver top coat is from their Mariah Carey Collection for Holiday 2013. It retailed for $30 at the time, but I was lucky enough to find it heavily discounted on Amazon. This polish is worth getting a hold of if you can find it! OPI Pure is a gold-leaf glitter top coat. So it's not gold glitter, it's glitter MADE OF GOLD. It really is very different and special, unlike any of my other (many) glitter top coats.There have been other gold-leaf top coats in the past (Zoya made one, OPI had The Man With The Golden Gun in 2012, some different indies have made them), but I've never had one before. Looking at online photos, those others look very bright and yellow. The gold in OPI Pure is a more subdued shade of gold, so I prefer the one I have. It looks great over practically any shade of nail polish, especially darker colors. This is a must-have if you like glitter polishes, and now it's one of my favorite OPI's.On the nail, the glitter looks like tiny gold flakes and they lay perfectly flat. The surface of my nails is so smooth with this on, it's really not like other glitter polishes at all! The glitter pieces are small but they are densely packed. One lightly-applied coat is all you need. The formula is excellent, application is smooth and the wear lasts for days. Very impressive.The packaging is great too. It comes in a Limited-Edition collector's box, and the bottle itself is painted opaque gold instead of the usual clear glass. Some people don't like it because you can't see how much polish is left, but personally I love it. I think it looks very luxe and it also sets it apart from all my other OPI's.Overall, I love and recommend this polish very highly. Would definitely buy it again!

PURE is a mix of white gold and silver flecks of varying sizes in a clear base. I use it for layering over dark polishes either all over the nail, over half of the nail, or as a gradient. It looks stunning paired with every shade of polish that I've tried so far, but it's especially gorgeous over blue or plum. The polish applies smoothly and is quick to dry too, plus it adds days to the life of your manicure. PURE is what I wish Deborah Lippmann Boom Boom Pow had been like...My only issue is with the packaging: the bottle is opaque which makes me suspect that either the bottle isn't full, or that the bottle has an elevated bottom to it.

This is part of the limited edition Mariah Carey 2013 holiday collection. The packaging is super pretty just like MWTGG but you can't see how much polish is left in the bottle (kinda the reason for the lippie off).I have only used my polish once but it seems that my bottle has teeny tiny pieces instead of lots of bigger flakes. I wish it had bigger flakes like in MWTGG. This is also super expensive like MWTGG, but if you like unique polishes this is one for the collection. Please don't expect glitter like flashes on your nails because the gold/silver flakes do not flash like that. They are pretty and noticeable but they will not flash on your nails. If you want flash like that go for a glitter and save yourself some money. I used my Pure 18k over a blackened sapphire color and it's actually super pretty, very noticeable. For application I loaded up my brush and dropped the brush on the nail and kinda wiggled it around to place the flakes. Just like the MWTGG brushing and trying to place by brushing can tear the flakes a bit or you end up with the flake back on the brush defeating the purpose. I also used another top coat over to even out and make it flat and shiny. The gold/silver flakes can leave a bumpy feel on the nails if you don't add another thicker top coat.

Love this! Deep mauvey-rasperry pink, really pretty. I have it on my toes right now (May) and it works with my pp skin, not sure how it'd work in winter when I'm even paler I had it on my nails a few days ago, loved it there too! And of course, the great OPI quality.

I love this color, it's the exact color of ripe raspberries to me, in between red and pink. I like it as a pedicure color, it's fun, bright, a little unexpected but still totally classic. It goes on smoothly and holds up pretty well. If I ever finish this bottle, I will definitely buy more.
