Aprés Extend Gel Novice is the beginner-friendly formula in the Aprés Gel-X system, built for first-time users who need a little more forgiveness during tip application. The thick, putty-like consistency holds the Gel-X tip in place from the moment it touches the nail, giving you time to adjust placement, correct angles, and seat each tip cleanly before curing.

Where the standard Extend Gel can overflow or shift under the lamp, this thicker formula stays put once you let go, removing the rush of trying to maneuver tips under a flash cure. It is HEMA-free, soaks off as easily as the original Extend Gel, and pairs effortlessly with Aprés Neutrals Gel-X Tips and Heavenly Top Gelcoat for a polished finish.

How to Apply

Prep nails with pH Bonder and Gel-X Prep.
Apply Extend Gel Novice to underside of Gel-X tip.
Press tip onto nail and adjust placement as needed.
Flash cure with mini LED light to lock in position.
Fully cure entire hand under LED lamp.

This product was crucial in learning how to do nail extensions

I got the original Apres kit with the extend gel and bought the lamp that does the kind of in between curing but it was just such an enormous hassle and incredibly frustrating for a beginner. This product really made it so easy to learn and use and I am now able to to both but prefer this for applications since it is so much more forgiving and clean.
