Overall I am pleased with this polish. Glistening Snow is a very fine silver and holographic glitter, and was part of the China Glaze Holiday 2012 collection. This brand has come out several colors with the same fine holo glitter formula recently (Angel Wings and Champagne Kisses were the other two from this collection). The holo glitter is not quite as 'blingy' on the nail as it is in the bottle, but still in bright light it is visible. It was nicely opaque in 2 coats, and it lasted 3-4 days on my nails (which is about average for me). The fine glitter made removal much less of a chore than with other glitter polishes. I really dig this polish for around the holidays, as it does remind me somewhat of snow in the sunlight :) I would likely repurchase.
This is a fine holographic glitter polish from the China Glaze 2012 Holiday Polish collection. It's PACKED with gold micro-glitters in a thin clear base. Excellent glitter payofff with each coat. I used 3 thin coats for full opacity but could have gotten away with two thick ones! There is also a matching silver version of this polish, called Glistening Snow, as well as a rose gold colored one called Champagne Kisses. I will have to go back to Ulta to see if they have the other glitters as well, because I love Angel Wings!
Very fine glitter, applies easily. Doesn't need a base color but would work well with one. Leaves a definite "sandpaper" texture on the nails.
This polish is part of the 2012 China Glaze holiday collection. It is a very densely packed fine silver microglitter polish, with a rainbow of colors showing up in the glitter. I purchased it to use as a shimmery topcoat (thinking it was a denser version of Fairy Dust), but I found it too thickly packed with the fine glitter to use as a topcoat; it gets streaky too easily. However, on it's own with two coats it's opaque, sparkly, and gorgeous. You could use a light grey or blue as a base underneath, but it isn't necessary.Beautiful!!!!!!!
I bought this polish online, and expected it to be a slightly darker brown (closer to Chanel Haute Chocolat) after comparing numerous swatches, but I like it anyway. Other China Glaze polishes have been so thick that I needed to add polish thinner, but this had a perfect consistency right out of the bottle. It applies very easily, and the brush is a good size. The color is a very light, shimmery/sparkly brown; the shimmer is beige/gold. I especially like this because it is so hard to find brown polishes without red in them. While there are a few flecks of pinkish/reddish glitter in there, the overall effect is a light golden brown. The color is very similar to Covergirl's Boundless Color in Bronze Beauty, which is more green/silver and less brown than this one.
