This colour looks great when you fist apply it but it fades to a dull shade, chips instantly and absolutely RUINS your nails with stains. Even when I used a base coat my nails still turned green and stayed green for ages! The colour doesn't last and gets dull and bluish after only a couple days and mine started chipping after just a few hours of wear. It's unfortunate because the colour is a gorgeous deep teal meets turquoise but it doesn't stay that way and is simply unwearable for me any more. I also find the brush is too small and little things like that make me less likely to use it again since it's not as easy to apply. Overall I'm still a fan of the colour but it's only good for a days wear until it chips, fades and you need to reapply whilst all the time risking your nails getting severely discoloured. This was one of my first China Glaze polishes and I expected a brand like theirs to have a higher quality formula and not something that ruins your nails with no staying power. I may wear it on occasion over false/gel nails etc and put up with the side effects since the shade is lovely but overall I was quite disappointed with this.
I love this shade of green. The formula is smooth and is opaque in two coats. There is a subtle shimmer to this but it's hard to see unless you're out in the sunlight. Wear is average unless I use my Revlon CS basecoat. Then I get almost a week with no chips.
My 8 year old picked this out as part of her spring mani. She just loves the semi-opaque greenish blue mid-toned shade. Trendy. Edgy. Fun. Perfect for an 8 year old.
Swatches show that its like a teal colour, but its actually more green in real life. Looks a bit more like the swatches under sunlight I would say. Lovely bit of gold shimmer within. Good formula, opaque with 2 coats, then I use china glaze no chip top coat on top, and makes it shine :) HOWEVER. I must say, THIS STAINS YOUR NAILS AND SKIN LIKE MAD. I ruined some of my nails after 2 hours so had to redo them. When I took them off, I looked like I was poisoned or something! Greenish nails and greenish skin does not make a good look! It went around after a day and a shower, but still! Does not look good if you want to paint your nails another colour immediately then go out. Might try doubling up on the base coat before apply this colour again. I do like the colour, so might have to put up with the staining! I'll figure a way out to keep it to the minimum lol ;)
I absolutely love this color! It's greenish blue and really unique. The formula is awesome 2 coats and your done. I add China Glaze Fast Forward top coat and it dries quickly and has awesome shine. The HUGE problem is that when you remove this color, it leaves your fingers stained bad. I tried hard to get all the green tint off my fingers but nothing worked. However, it went away in a day. I would repurchase this, but only after I try all the other colors!
