Your basic, standard, dark, warm, plum creme. Looks black in many/most lighting situations, and, being a creme, there's no shimmer to lighten it up or to hint at the true plum hue. In strong or direct light, it's a warm off-black, though it's sometimes possible to discern the plumminess in just the right light. Mostly, it's simply not-quite-black. Despite the relative uninterestingness of this polish (i.e., there are LOADS of polishes just like this; in fact, this is close enough to OPI Lincoln Park After Dark to say it's a dupe), I do like it. It's got a very nice, smooth formula that I enjoy, and a nice finish, and there is some depth of colour here that you often find lacking in cremes. I can't say I wear this often, but I do wear it, and I prefer it to other similar dark, warm, plum cremes. Makes a nice base for flakies and other kinds of specialty top coats or glitters, though it looks nice enough on its own (the depth of colour and nice finish help with that). Worth getting if you're in the market for a plummy off-black.
One of my top favorite nail polishes. Love it. It's just beautiful. I often get compliments when I wear it. I bought Essie wicked nail polish and returned it because the color was so similar to evening seduction but the formula was just incredibly awful. I highly recommend buying this one, better price, better formula, gorgeous color!
It's a beautiful color, but it chipped so quickly. I had a base coat, two coats of this color, and a thick top coat and it was chipping in large sections within a 24 hour period. Too bad.
I bought this as I'm loving plummy purples for the autumn winter. First coat you can definitely see the plum. Second coat its barely there, just a blacky shade but with some warmth from the purple if that makes sense! Loving it, however the brush is awful so knocked a lippie off
My favourite China Glaze shade :-)Lasts around 4 days without chipping, no need for a top coat as it is shiny on it's own. Amazing shade, would recommend to anyone...only negative is the brush, China Glaze brushes are not as good as OPI.
