China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard 0.5 oz - #80443

It's beautiful can't wait to wear it for Halloween.

This is a very pretty red color with lots of gold shimmer. It looks lovely in the bottle but I wasn't prepared for how great this looks on my hands. It is gorgeous. It lasted the normal 3 1/2 days for me that China Glaze polishes normally do. I keep looking at my nail and smiling this is a wonderful color. I can't wait to see what it does to my toes in flip flops!! This is a must have color for me.

In the bottle this looks like a deep red shimmer with a swirl of gold running through it. On your nails the result is one even color. It is a chinese red with a golden cast. The formula goes on very smooth and even (the best I've ever applied). The only reason I hesitate on this product is that it doesn't seem to last as long as I would like. After only 2 or 3 days it is wearing off the tips and scratches and chips are noticeable. This is partly due to the shade and partly due to my lack of a brilliant top coat, but still it is an issue.

I'm warm, so you'd think I'd be loving these warm, brickish, golden red shimmers... but I just can't seem to get into them. This looks kind of garish on me, even though it's actually a little bit muted for a red shimmer. It reminds me a bit of Revlon's Get Reddy (which is even more garish on me), only warmer and more subdued. I'll try this on my toes, but I'm not a fan so far. Shimmery bright warm red with a slight golden shimmer mixed in. i absolutely adore this shade, it's very rich and complex. one coat is opaque but i need two to even out my mistakes ;p
