Label color is deceiving

I like the clear builder very much, so, I wanted to try a builder with color. I had a hard time deciding which to buy, blush or mauve. I bought the mauve. Well, it's hard to buy something by looking at a paper label. So I used it on my nail. The color looks more brown than a mauve. To me mauve should be a pinkish purple color not brown. It made my nails look dead. I don't like the milky mauve and will not use it again. I wish there was another way to see the colors. Choosing the color by label color is deceiving.
