I've been doing my own nails since my long-time nail tech/manicurist changed careers. I added CND Plexigel products to my stash and must say I really like them! They're the builder gel and shaper gel are a little thicker than I'm used to but the cured product was extremely easy to shape and smooth with just my 180/100 grit banana file!

I don't even like CND shellac, but I absolutely live by the plexigel. My clients nails are phenomenal and last 5 weeks on average if they extend their wait (a few have). The soak off isn't too much work and it has the fair blend of flexibility and strength which I think helps when they accidentally hit their nails on something.
