Cnd has some issues....

First, let me preface by saying I have been doing my own gel polish mani's for 9 yrs., almost exclusively CND Shellac, due to being the gentlest on nails. I use the CND Led Lamp, I use lint free wipes, I keep my work area clean, I use reading glasses and a small clip-on light so I can see if any fibers or lint floating around. I keep my collection, embarrassingly 34 bottles, in a dark cabinet. I thoroughly clean the bottle after using, so the cap is tight, I keep the bottle away from the lamp light when using, I keep the cap closed, I shake for 1 minute before each coat- I have read everything out there to avoid fuzz getting in mani's, clumping, bubbles or polish getting thick and gloppy. ALL that said, I just received this polish and used for the first time today. The color is right on trend, but you will need to do 3 coats to get an even finish, as it does streak, and the polish is already thick like it is old!! By the time I was on second hand, it was gloppy. Now, why I am 'this close' to parting ways with CND- there is NO consistency- some colors are really thick, (past their prime??) some streak, but I am tired of having to throw out their polish when I have only used 1/4-1/2 of the bottle as they get too thick to use, plan on replacing your polish within a yr., even if you have seldom used. ALSO, the biggest issue which annoys me to no end- due to the diligence I take, including looking at my nails in a 10x mirror for any stray lint or fuzz- the bottles, even brand new, have particles in them...there is ALWAYS lint and alot of times it is black- this makes me crazy- it has to be in the manufacturing process as I don't have the issue with other brands. Plus, most of the bottle caps eventually will NOT attach to the bottle as something happens with the threads where the cap will not tighten- almost like a planned defect that causes polish to thicken faster and have to be replaced. I love the colors, the fact that they don't require damaging over soaking or scraping to remove, but it is getting ridiculous with purchasing each bottle being a crap shoot. I have researched this online and looked at reviews on other sites, and this seems to be an issue. I would ask the CND manuf. directly but they don't talk to you as they are supposed to be sold only to professionals. I may have to give up and use other gels and deal with the issue of not being as good for my fragile nails, but I cannot keep buying and replacing bottles that I get very little use out of.
