I finally found a peach that works for me!

I have light, mostly pink toned skin that sometimes pulls warmer for no reason. I've learned that it can be hard to find lighter nail polishes that look good against my skin tone. Most either wash me out or look darker on me than they do on other people. Peachy tones have, for some reason, been especially difficult for me to figure out. I did probably too much research before buying this color. I went through all of beyond polish's colors and looked at the site photos, review photos, and also googled the colors and looked at any additional images I could find. The thing that I really liked about the swatches I saw from others was that the color and tone of Peach Buff stayed true across skintones, which is super rare in my experience. I had high hopes when the polish arrived on my doorstep and I'm so excited that it ended up being exactly what I was hoping for.

As far as the application of the polish goes, the brush is amazing, the formula is excellent, and so far the staying power is unreal. I've had it on my toes for two weeks with zero wear-off. One sort of downside for some people might be the number of layers needed to get a truly opaque finish, but honestly it might just be a me problem. I don't know what I do wrong when applying polish, but even the best formulas are a bit streaky on me. For that reason, I try to do thinner coats and let them dry completely in between. My fingers got three coats, with just a couple spots needing a bit more. For my toes I was able to do slightly thicker coats and ended up with two on most of my toes and then three on my big toes. That being said, I was prepared for extra chipping and cracking due to the thickness of the paint, but there was absolutely none. I was shocked when after three days they still looked as good as they did on day one. I'm not sure how long they would've lasted if I'd waited until I actually needed to redo my nails to change colors, but I have a feeling I would've been just fine to go at least another three days if not longer.
