Following some new medications, my skin has been terrible flaky and very dry. I just can't get on top of it, even with cortisone creams. I've tried many masks including Lush and other Ella Bache mask-type products and had no luck.Mum and I have been loyal Ella Bache fans for decades so she has a massive collection of freebies from the years and we went through it to try to find a mask that might work.I tried this with little hope as no products have really made a difference so far. Wow as other reviews have said, I could actually feel this working! I left it on for about 16 minutes and removed with a damp warm face washer. 24 hours later and my skin is still feeling the effects the dry flaky patches have ALMOST cleared up! I think in a few days I'll hit it again with another dose of this mask and I might be cured!!! I can totally believe that it probably also reduces poors and things as others have said, but really all I'm focussing on is it's fantastic healing and regenerating power!Definitely will buy when our samples of this run out!

I buy this for my daughter and husband. Hubbie is a photographer, mountain biker and sailor so is in the sun a lot. This is the only product that stays on for him. My daughter has super sensitive skin and can't use the drugstore brands except for Neutrogena, but I trust the Ella Bache brand as the sunscreen is formulated in Australia. I find it a tad heavy for the face, but the sports block is amazing for staying power and protection.

I bought this product because of the rave reviews on MUA and beauty magazines who call it 'the ultimate party mask'. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is a white, clay-based mask that is thick but easily spread. I don't notice any particular smell so it's relatively inoffensive to me at least. I had very high expectations for this product and it does brighten my skin and really clean it out. However, I get the feeling that it is a little hyped up. Still a very good product though, as it leaves my skin very smooth, very clean but not at all dried out. The instructions say to leave the mask on for a minimum of 12 minutes, I usually leave it on for 15 20 minutes, I can't bear much longer than that because the clay hardens and freezes your face which I don't find particularly comfortable. I paid something ridiculous like $24AUD for 50ml, which was incredibly reasonable because I know in the salons it goes for $60AUD or more. Would recommend for all skin types.

I've been using this masque for eight years now on my sensitised skin. It brightens my skin almost immediately and doesn't upset my complexion. Very gentle product and smells lovely too

Nice clay mask product. It definitely evens out my skin tone and brightens up my face probably by mild exfoliation of the skin. Also because i have oily skin, this controls the oil without over drying. Calms any redness and pimples too giving skin a slight glow.Use just before a hot date and it will get you prettied up. Got really nice compliments on glowing skin each time after using this .... xD[edit] exfoliation before is a big factor because sometimes i use this and think "waste of money, not working" but other times there is a big WOW factor .....
