AMAZING!I consider this product to be very expensive. However, it is a great product. I think only fairly sophisticated skincare users would like it because i suppose some could consider it a little finicky to use. Apply a thin layer, allow to dry completely, then use fingers to buff/rub off; which will result in a little bit of a mess like what's you'd have if you 'rubbed out' something written in pencil. So this provides the physical exfoliating action but also there's chemical component. It's very gentle, smells amazing too! By amazing i mean ridiculously strong enough to make the eyes water! But the smell doesn't phase me because i know how well the product works. Skin feels so soft and smooth afterwards. Will definitely use this again :)

LOVE! will never buy another exfoliator. Ive been using this 2 times a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for 2 months and i no longer have flakey, dehydrated skin. instead i now have a beautiful bright complexion.

This is my favourite exfoliant! I have combination skin, prone to breakouts if I don't take proper care of my skin and in addition to a good daily routine, using this once or twice a week really helps to treat any potential pimples preparing to surface. The smell is strong but I don't mind the fragrance! It really does reduce blemishes and makes my skin appear brighter and clearer. I have previously been rather blase about incorporating a scrub routine because I hadn't really noticed the difference, but I really do notice an improvement with Revitalisant.

Revitalisant...the exfoliant that gets you high! LOL. Seriously though, the alcohol scent of this is rather intoxicating. Shake first, then pat the gritty liquid on your face and let it dry as you breathe in those glorious fumes. The BHA starts working. 5-10 minutes later, rub your face and it will come off in little eraser-type flakes. Rinse off the rest and you're left with beautiful smooth skin! Amusingly low-tech but no less effective for that, there's a reason this has been around for 30 years--it works! I rotate many exfoliants on my thick, oily, clog-prone skin, but I always find room for Revitalisant.

I have extremely fussy combination skin, which breaks out in cystic pimples occasionally and is also developing dryness as I get older. Because I'm always on the hunt for that product that will give me clear, smooth skin I had an Ella Bache facial at which the therapist used Revitalisant.According to the Ella Bache website, Revitalisant is "A dual-action exfoliant with salicylic acid and ground almonds to retexturise the skin's surface and promote cell renewal for a softer, smoother, more supple complexion. Skin feels renewed and refreshed. Chamomile soothes while kaolin and zinc oxide absorb impurities. Suitable for all skin types and conditions except sensitive and irritated."In reality, its a cream coloured liquid with big gritty grains in it which you brush on to your face. It is made with potato starch in it and it smells very strong. Strong enough to bring tears to my eyes if I get it to close to them! You leave it on your face for upwards of 5 minutes. I usually leave it on for at least 10, after which you are supposed to use sponges to remove it, but I just wash it off with cool water. I then slather my face with moisturiser.And the effect? It has made my large pores tighter and less noticeable, and my skin is definitely smoother in both texture and colour. I think it has also helped clear up any pimples I had and hopefully will help prevent new ones. I use Revitalisant twice a week and wouldn't recommend it's use any more frequently than that unless you had very oily skin.This stuff stinks, but does a great job as an exfoliator.The only reason I didn't give it 5 lippies is because it's quite expensive.
