Be Right Bag looks better applied on the nails than it does in the bottle. The bottle color makes it look like a beigey tan nude with pink shimmer but applied on the nails, the color is actually more pinky beige nude. Like a lot of Essie polishes, the shimmer doesn't show up on the nails but gives the base color a shiny cast. Although it's a nude it's not exactly a band aid color unless perhaps for the very very cool toned pale skintones. I think this color looks great on warm, olive, or deeper skintones, giving them that contrast. I don't know why this was released as part of fall...it's perfect for spring and summer IMO, especially since the modish nude nails look is being billed in all the magazines for this season. Be Right Bag looks best with 3 coats to get that opaque shiny look, 2 coats are good for a more understated look. I'm pleasantly surprised with this color and can see myself reaching for this more than once. For reference I'm Chanel Beige, Stila 30 watts, and GA LSF 5.5.Update 3/28/07: Now that it's sunny I see the pinkish bronze shimmer! It flashes in the sunlight, like an opal :)
