The color in the bottle is a lovely fairly neutral mid-light pink.

The color in the bottle is a lovely fairly neutral mid-light pink. 1 coat goes on somewhat milky and pale (and not pink) a bit to moderately streaky. If someone was really good with these type of colors they might get it to work. I think most of us would struggle with it, but some could make it work.2 coats go on streaky and it looks worse as the 2nd coat dries. It's pinker on the second coat (the color is lovely though). But it applies so poorly it looks bad.3 coats helped some. It looked decent with the 3rd coat evening out the streakiness. A bit tricky to apply but not the worst. And then it started drying and the streaks got so, so much worse. Even with a good self-leveling top coat.I did like the color with 3 coats, not opague or bottle color but it was very pretty. But the poor application is a no-go for me as well as the streaks and uneven look of it. Also if your nails aren't 100% perfect you will see any dents and ridges really badly.Save your money and go with my HG polish of this type Wet N Wild 2% Milk (not a color dupe but in this family), it goes on very well, easy and not streaky. And it's a lot cheaper.

I'm not usually a nude or neutral polish girl, but I really like Spaghetti Strap. I use three coats of this polish to reach full opacity and I use a ridge-filling base coat (Essie Fill The Gap) to help prevent the streakiness that can occur with sheer polishes. As such, I had absolutely zero issues with streaks something I wasn't expecting and am very happy about. The colour on me definitely pulls more nude or peach rather than the 'peony pink' Essie describes this shade as. However, it is true to bottle colour and does look flattering against my NC15 skin. It is a lovely work-appropriate colour. When paired with ridge-filling base and top coat this colour lasts perfectly for around 5 days which I find to be the standard wear time for Essie polishes. This colour looks very neutral but pretty and sophisticated it dries quickly and to a shiny finish and people often ask if I have gel nails on when I wear this. It is a gorgeous neutral and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes opaque neutral polishes. I believe it would look best on warm skin tones due to the peachy tones in the polish. If you use a ridge-filling base coat you should have no issues with streaks so I really think anyone who needs a subtle shade should give this one a go.

Buff your nails first if you don't want streaks with a translucent polish. If you have ridges, more pigment will fill the crevices. You wouldn't stain wood without sanding it first, after all. That's user error, not a design error.This polish is loooovely. It's so cute and subtle. With 2-3 coats it looks like a really soft french manicure. It really makes your nails look clean and healthy. I love it and will purchase again.

Streaky streaky streaky!! Perfect colour, but streaky! Impossible to apply correctly!! I wanted to try Mademoiselle by Essie but it appears impossible to find in my local drugstores. ( I already tried Sugar Daddy--it's just too beige on my warm, yellowish hands, despite looking pinkish in the bottle) Spaghetti Strap is a perfect creamy delicate pink and more opaque than Sugar Daddy. If it was more sheer or less chalky, i'd love it! Bottle was new and juice was thin so I know it hadn't turned. Ah well, I'll order Mademoiselle by mail!
