I am a huge nail biter/picker and started going to the salon in an effort to grow out my natural nails… I had tips, then acrylic overlays, gel, etc and my nails actually got long (ish) but I was spending so much money and they really were not healthy. The moment they chipped or started lifting it was over, I would have to get in right away or i would pick and peel and damage them. I wanted to start doing my nails myself but didn’t want anything super time consuming. I got the foundation flex and I love it. It is so easy, just 2 coats and the light nude is the perfect natural color, not too pink and not too brown. My manicure looks just as good as the salon and lasts the same amount of time for me.

I've been hearing good things about rubber-based base coats and wanted to give this a try. I am NOT a pro. I used a dehydrator, then a nonacid primer, then used foundation flex, followed by a builder gel to create short nails. I use lacquer polish, not gel. I have done one fill since using the product originally. I had NO lifting. None. I would purchase this again.

I've been looking for a gel base that can give some strength to my natural nails and one that I could use gel polish or regular nail polish with. I stumbled across this product and Gelish advertises that you can use both gel polish and normal nail polish with it so I figured I'd give it a try. After putting this on, I felt like this did give more strength to my natural nails than nothing on them. I can't speak on longevity since I've only had this on less than a week but so far so good! No premature chipping or cracking at all. Definitely worth trying out!
