KBShimmer - Nail Polish - Solar Flair Multichrome Magnetic

Solar Flair does great at being a multichrome. It shifts from a deep red-orange to yellow depending on the lighting and angle you look at it from. However, I bought this polish because I was stunned by the swatch photos showing it magnetized in the cat eye style, and was pretty disappointed when I discovered there was barely any difference in color after magnetizing. I've tried several techniques from cat eye, to velvet, and even tried the magnets that pull the magnetic pigment into different patterns. Nothing showed much of an effect no matter how close I held the magnet or how long I kept it over my nail. The little effect that it did show quickly dispersed as it dried. I've also tried storing the bottle upside down to see if the pigment is just too heavy when stored right side up, and that didn't have any noticeable difference either. Not sure if my bottle was part of a bad batch, or what.
