KBShimmer Tulip To Apologize is a glow-in-the-dark shimmer polish that shifts between peachy salmon warmth and ethereal purple luminescence. This delicate pink jelly base is packed with golden shimmer, creating a soft, dimensional finish by day. When charged by sunlight, the polish glows purple. Under blacklight, it reveals a blue-toned glow, while indoor lighting produces a pale white shimmer over time.

OBSESSED

This color is SO unbelievably pretty in person! It's like a peachy-pink golden dream. It has great coverage in a couple coats and the formula is easy to work with. I keep a swatch of this on my desk to just stare at because it's SO frickin' pretty! It just scratches my brain in the right way. I can't wait to wear this all summer. I am pasty-pale white and still love this color but on darker or tan skin would be absolutely drop-dead gorgeous!

A bit disappointing

I swatched this on my big toe using OPI Natural Base Coat and KBShimmer's Clearly On Top as base and top coat, respectively. At one coat, the color is strongly dominated by the orangey shimmer. At two coats, it gets a little bit more pink. At three coats, it seemed about as pink as it was going to get. It's still a lot more orange than in the photos due to how overwhelming the orangey shimmer is. Maybe it would be better on fingernails...? I do find it pinker in overcast lighting, but any time there's enough of a light source it's practically gold.

The glow in the dark is quite subtle, which is expected from this color of glow. Some colors simply do not glow as bright as others. It's still a bit disappointing, though.
