Kinetics Shield™ Fiber Base in Dark Sand #927 is a professional-grade gel base coat built for thin and delicate nails. Nylon fibers reinforce the nail structure while a flexible rubber base keeps the formula comfortable and chip-resistant. The medium-thick consistency makes application smooth and precise, aided by a wide-neck bottle designed for easy handling. Dark Sand is a warm, neutral nude with soft beige undertones, sitting at the sandy midpoint between ivory and tan. It pairs effortlessly with the full Shield™ range and is colour-matched across Ceramic Base, Classic Gel, and Jelly Gel.
The HEMA-free formula reduces the risk of skin irritation, itching, and redness. Compatible with LED, UV/LED, and UV lamps, this base coat delivers up to 28 days of long-lasting wear. It is designed for builder application technique only.
How to Apply
- Prepare the nail, apply Dehydrator and Bonder.
- Apply a thin layer of Shield™ Rubber Base, cure for 30s.
- Apply a thin layer of Shield™ Fiber Base on all nails. Cure for 60 seconds.
- Apply a builder layer and cure nail by nail for 30s. Then, cure both hands for 60 seconds.
- Finish with Shield™ Top of your choice, cure for 60s.
- To remove, soak off using a 120/180 grit file to remove shine, soak a wipe in Polish Remover Red Lizard, wrap in foil, and leave for 15 minutes. Remove foil, use a cuticle pusher to clear excess, then buff and shape. Alternatively, use a drilling machine to remove 90% of the material, check for remaining pockets, then proceed with soak-off or refill. Always sanitize hands before removal.
