Aloha from OPI is from OPI Hawaii Spring 2015 Collection. It's a red-orange, cream polish (dark coral?). The first coat was very streaky. I needed 3 coats to even it out to the best of my ability, so not the best/easiest formula to work with. The colour itself looked very bright on me, borderline neon. It clashed with my post-winter-pale skin. I am planning to try this polish again in the summer. Also, I think, this should be a nice pedicure colour. Truthfully, I didn't enjoy working with this polish and I didn't enjoy wearing it. I might give it another go, but I would not be repurchasing.
Bright, shiny, summer goodness! Aloha From OPI is a bright red-orange coral colour. The formula applies like a dream it is creamy, smooth and an excellent thin consistency. It is not too thin though, so it will not become watery, runny or flood your cuticles. Two coats is enough to reach opacity. This colour is very bright and dries to an exceptionally shiny finish. It also dries quickly which is a plus! It is a very fun colour which would suit all skin tones and be especially flattering when you have a summer tan. This colour is long lasting, and I did not suffer from chipping or tipweae. I love this colour and it is one of my favourites for summer.
Aloha From OPI is from spring 2015's Hawaii collection, and is a orange-based-red creme polish the orange undertone is so strong that I could almost call this shade coral. I've removed a lippie because OPI have released several similar shades over the past few years, plus it isn't as though a similar shade is hard to find in any other mainstream brand. The formula for this is nice; it is well-pigmented enough to be opaque on one coat, but I find that the formula can be a teensy bit patchy on the first coat, so I apply two coats to cover and level everything out. I've not had any issues with streaking with my bottle.OPI polishes will last me anywhere between two to four days with only minimal wear. But as I'm a self powered wheelchair user I'm tough on my hands and am always catching my nails, so I can't really speak for how long lasting the formula is overall.
I got this polish for 1.50 at Deals because of a sale they were having so I'm particularly lucky. The only reason I would repurchase this polish is because of the color; I just love it so much! The formula however sucks. It's streaky even on the second coat and you can still see some of the natural nail *if you have long nails* under. It's thick as well.I stopped at 2 coats and put a top coat over it, but even that didn't stop the streaks.
The shade of this polish is really bright and gorgeous, a coral leaning pink red rather than orange. Really perfect to match to a fabulous tan. But the application, oh my, don't even get me started. It is thick no matter how much thinner you are going to add, not self levelling and quite patchy and to be honest nobody has got time for that. An OPI polish has got to be perfect or one might just pick up any drugstore paint.
