You Rock-apulco Red! is my oldest and favorite red polish of all time. It came out in the 2006 spring Mexico collection. I don't think I bought it when it was first released though it 2006, as the earliest I can recall having it was around 2008-2009. Either way, that still makes it about at least 8 years old. That was back before I knew polishes were not permanent and that limited edition existed or I would have grabbed another bottle for back up. This is the most gorgeous red on me. I have fair skin with ruddy undertones so most reds look too harsh on me. This one has enough pink in it and enough gold shimmer that it looks fantastic on me and every time I wear it my husband says how nice it looks. He usually does not compliment any of my polish colors, so it must look good for him to even say. The formula on this is still in fantastic shape. It glides on so smoothly and it takes 2 easy coats for opacity and a beautiful look. This does not cover flaws in the nails though, so use a ridge filling base coat for a smoother prettier finish. The golden shimmer in this is strong and it makes it look like it glows from within. This is such a gorgeous color and for person who rarely wears red polish, I don't want to take this one off. It's already been on 5 days and not a single chip in sight! The tip wear on this is minimal and it's lasted longer than I expected for a red. Usually reds show a lot of tip wear on me, but this one still looks second day fresh. I had forgotten how much I loved this one as so many new things get the love and this one sits getting dusty waiting for me to re-discover it. Every time I wear it I fall in love with it again. This is one of my all time favorite OPI polishes. I am going to have to look in my stash and see if I can find a dupe for it. Yes, please!

I find that opi nailpolish gives nice coverage. They have a wide variety of colours. If you cook and clean then don't expect your nails to last a long time. That's what shellac or gel nails are for. For myself I don't paint my hands. I just wear polish in my toes in the summer.
