Comparison of some sof tshades; 2 are iridescent. I have reviewed all of them on MUA:Full Size ImageFull Size ImageLovely, flattering, yet trendy AND conservative, iridescent soft shade. Perfect for anytime and occasion. Hard to not just stare at all the time. Gives the illusion of a tan in winter, too!It is a very, very light pink, with a natural base, lighter than Bubble Bath, and has this amazing blue-violet/lilac iridescent flash. Sooooooo awesome, and pretty in all lighting, especially at night. There is a very slight shimmer, too. It is so sophisticated and edgy all at the same time. Application is nice, too. I like 2 light coats, so there is a little visible nail line (VNL). Does not streak on me or get gloopy over time, either (like some soft shades can). On my second bottle, will purchase repeatedly. My go to pink. I also have Otherwise Engaged, which is a very light pink, but with a quiet pink iridescence....the net effect gives you a iridescent ballet pink. It is my version of Bubble Bath (which I have and think is too boring); and it's much more subtle then Alter Ego. Both are nice, but I prefer Alter Ego because it has a youthful flair, and that flash is so lovely and unexpected, and it's little more flattering, too.Beauty Brands keeps both in stock, if you want to check them out. If you are like me, and feel pinks are hard to wear with your skintone, Alter Ego may be the one for you.See OPI Altar Ego Bridal Edition Nail Polish reviews (notice the spelling differs), to read what others have to say. I accidentally misspelled the polish name when searching MUA (apparently both of us thought the same thing) and I created a new entry for the review. So this review will stay for the benefit of us who mis-type it as "Alter Ego".here Altar Ego link:http://www.here.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=27902/Altar-Ego-Bridal-Edition-Nail-Polish/OPI/Polishes
