I've nearly finished my bottle of this now, it was the first glitter polish I ever purchased, and although I enjoy it, I won't be repurchasing it.The secret to this polish is to keep using it. The first 1-5 times I used it, it was mostly base and not a lot of glitters. Frustrated the hell out of me. Did the application with sponges thing, poured some out onto a sponge and dabbed, did the glitter placement thing, etc, and it was all base and hardly any glitters. Frustrating. However, I kept going, trying it over different polishes, and as I used up more polish and got about half way through the bottle the proportion of base to glitter improved immensely. Loads of those holographic glitters, lots of white, everything it promised to be has been delivered.Ive also got better at working out what colours it looks best over. The collection It appeared in (Wizard of Oz) had it paired with all these sheer nudes. nup. Put it over creams, put it over white (looks absolutely stunning over white), put it over white based pinks, blues, lemons and greys, it looks stunning over very pale colours, love it. Those mulitcoloured glitters are like the lights of emerald city on your nails, stunning. The white squares meh.Its been a frustrating polish, but perservence has paid off and I really love this glitter now. I've received compliments about how pretty the shiny glitter is.NOTE: towards the end of the bottle it does dry out a little quick in the bottle. My theory is that all the extra surface area of the glitters allows for the base to dry out. I've been adding a few drops of OPI Nail Polish thinner to the polish and that sets the base right again so that it continues to work. If the glitters accumulate to the bottom or surface of the bottle and you can't get them out take a paperclip, half unfold it so that you have a 'u' shape at the end and then push the paperclip into your bottle and sort of spoon the glitters around so that they separate and disperse more evenly through the base. I scrape the glitters off the side with the hook/u end of the paperclip and disperse them through.

I like this polish from the 2013 Oz collection.

I like this polish from the 2013 Oz collection. It's a clear base with small holographic and larger white square-shaped glitter. It looks dense in the bottle. However, when you apply it, it's difficult to get much of the glitter (if any) on your nail. On my first coat, I applied 3-4 pieces of holographic glitter on each fingernail, and only two white pieces on all 10 nails. The white pieces look a little odd because they aren't on more of my nails. It is cute because the glitter still catches the light, and you could apply a few more coats to get more coverage of glitter. I actually like the look of less glitter; it's not so blingy. The good news would be that it's easier to remove if the glitter isn't so dense on the nail. So, would I buy again? Probably not, although I do find it pretty.

I love glitters and glitter topcoats.

I love glitters and glitter topcoats. I got this because of the unique glitter combination, which is small, square iridescent and larger square opaque bits that are more like confetti. This, however, has been a major disappointment. First, the glitter suspension is pitiful. To get any glitter onto my nails, I have to repeatedly dip into the bottle and then spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to arrange what glitter I manage to pick up so it looks okay on the nail. The base is thick and gloggy, but despite the thickness, the glitter is still poorly suspended, and most of the white confetti style glitter seems to want to cling to the side of the bottle rather than coming anywhere near the brush. This is a major pain to work with. I tried a bit of polish thinner, hoping it might help to disperse the glitter a bit more (perhaps my bottle was just settled or older or...?) but it didn't help much. I also tried shaking the heck out of the bottle and rolling it between my palms to see if I could get some of the settled glitter back into circulation, but, again, not much improvement. I even gave the bottle a nice bath in warm water to warm up the polish so that I could shake it up, and that didn't do much good, either (though I did mange to dislodge at least some of the white confetti from the side of the bottle, not that it helped much).I'm pretty experienced with applying glitters of all descriptions. I know how to place the glitter, how to dab it on, how to use a sponge, all kinds of techniques for good application, but this polish just defies me every time. It's frustrating, to say the least. What's even more frustrating is that it's a really cool looking polish. If I spend a ridiculous amount of time with it, and I'm willing to have multiple, thick layers of this, I can get a very interesting looking glitter top coat, and this looks extremely good in a jelly sandwich. It's just so much hassle to use this at ALL, that it's hardly worth doing. Pretty disappointed in you, OPI. This was a cool idea, but what the heck happened with the formula? EDIT: After struggling with this polish off and on for some time because I really wanted to wear it, I finally just gave up on it. I usually give away polishes that I end up not liking for one reason or another, but with really bad polishes, I actually just throw them away and pretend I bought a nice cup of coffee at a good cafe instead. This is one of the polishes about which I'm going to say, "Mmm, that was a really nice vanilla latte with skim milk. Really hit the spot."
