OMG. I cannot believe it, but I have FINALLY found a "coral" nail polish that does NOT make my neutral/cool, light/medium olive skin look either "greenish-beige", nor "old, dirty, taupe-y brown paperbag-ish"! YAY! My Address Is Hollywood is my PERFECT coral! And best yet, the color seems to morph, depending on the lighting, going from coral-pink to coral-peach. LUV!I would describe My Address Is Hollywood as a "slightly muted, medium shade of warm coral pink with a tinge of a brown/beige base tone". With 2 coats, this shade was more peach-coral on me. With 3 coats, more of the pink tones came out. I LOVE both! I have searched for years for a coral I could wear. I must have 20-30 corals -all sitting in boxes. My eye is so drawn to these gorgeous shades, but they seem to hate my cool-neutral olive tones. I really have to layer on faux-tanner to make them wearable in the least, and usually they end up looking just way too bright. Without a tan, it's a total disaster. YUCK. I have tried pastel corals to dark ones, none were successful. UNTIL I discovered My Address Is Hollywood.I think it is that brown/beige base tone that makes this coral wearable against my olive skin. The coral reads still as a lively springy summery hue, but just a touch softer.I LUVVVVVVVVVVVVVVv this shade!Btw, it is nowhere near as "bright Barbie pink" as I have seen it to be on various online swatch pics. It is much warmer in tone, at least in the OPI "Gelcolor" version. And I must say that THIS shade is the only shade of gelpolish that I have not gotten tired of wearing for 2 weeks straight! I actually have done a repeat mani with this shade for 2 applications in a row -making this about my 4th week wearing the SAME polish shade. This has neverrrrrr happened to me before. I can't stand even wearing the same "nude" for longer than 10 days before getting bored of it. But now with MAiH! I think this may be my ONE "spring to summer" shade that I can wear all season! It's neutral enough to go with most of my wardrobe. If you have felt that you cannot wear "corals", but really want to, TRY this shade! :)I think that "medium skintones" would like this type shade best (esp if you are medium OLIVE). I think that those with FAIR non-olive skin may think this shade looks "mauve-y" or "dusty rose-ish" because of it's slighly muted tones (you probably like BRIGHTER clearer corals), but those with pale OLIVE skin will love this shade (I have pale olive skin when not faux tanned). I think those with dark skin may find this shade a bit....boring, as you can pull off much brighter shades? But if you are any shade of OLIVE (pale medium-dark), and esp if you lean neutral/cool (very hard to wear a coral without your skin looking weird!), please try My Address Is Hollywood! It's GORGEOUS!The only NEGATIVE is that I do not "see" any shimmer in this shade with my naked eye, unless I have my finger tips under bright sunlight and I use a magnifying glass. LOL However, I do think the slight shimmer does act to keep this polish from having that creme "latex paint" look to it. There is almost a "pearl" look to it -something is there, way in the background, but it is there! I do wish I could see just a tad more shimmer, but the way it is now makes it very work appropriate, so I'm not complaining. :) I wonder if it is only the Gelcolor version that has a non-shimmery look?Aside from that, all else with this shade is PERFECTION! It's sexy, yet subtle. It's summer bright, with a tad of shadowy dimness that keeps it from looking more "sophisticated" vs "beachy". I am going to buy a few more bottles to keep in my stash!
