I got mine at Deals for 1.50 due to a sale they were having so the price was the bomb! Verified that it is in fact real O.P.I. The first coat is sheer and the formula is as well. I haven't tried a white base under but that might get it to be more opaque in a less number of coats.I did 4 coats and then stopped. If I had waited a while longer before each coat it might have given me the full opaqueness in less!I LOVE THE COLOR! It's so different. It has this sort of tint which you would see in silver polishes.

this polish is from the spring/summer 2015 collection. it caught my eye at first because it looked different, but i did pass it up several times before i bought it because all the reviews said it was sheer.it is a sheer, runny formula. a good 3-coater, for sure. i call it a shimmery frog greenit's not exactly ugly, but it is just a tad on the side of obnoxious. idk, if i were ten years younger i'd probly love it. but i do feel a little silly wearing it, so i reserve it for those days when i'm in the mood to do something a little fun and goofy. i love green polish, i'm not a prude when it comes to color on my nails.. i just feel like this specific polish leans a little on the tacky side. maybe this would be a better pedi polish for me. maybe it clashes with my skin tone and that's why i don't care for it too much. i wore it on St. Patty's Day and haven't had the urge to wear it since. i think if you love green and you feel like having bright green shimmery nails (and don't mind doing 3 coats), then this polish is a good one for you!

This color is unlike any other. My grandmother and I were dusty hunting at a salon (we found a few things) and when we were checking out, the lady at the counter recommended it. At first I was skeptical, but we got it. 2 weeks later, it's my favorite! I'm wearing it right now, and the pearly bronze shimmer is so captivating. It does truly look like green foliage of Hawaii. It has lasted several days with no chips, and it dries quickly. A must have for a green polish lover like myself.

My Gecko Does Tricks is another green polish from OPI Hawaii Collection 2015. This is a grass green shimmer flashing silver and bronzy colour. It is so unique. It reminds me of a car that has a similar colour. It is so unique. When I first come across this colour, I didn't think I would like it. However, this colour grows on me. Simply because it has an interesting bronzy silvery sheen on it, other than the grass green shimmer. This colour represents Hawaii and the tropics very well. The application, on the contrary, needs a bit more technique. It requires 3 coats to make it opaque as the first application is quick runny and sheer. However, with careful flat application technique, anyone can achieve a flawless opaque finish like the beautiful model on OPI website. I will definitely buy another one for back up. I really think if you like a unique green, go and get one, you won't regret it.
