I hope OPI doesn’t discontinue the old gel formula because Intelli-gel lifts within 24 hours. It went on great—smooth, shiny and pigmented (probably the prettiest mani I’ve ever seen) but it doesn’t last at all.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Intelli-Gel Combo. We’re happy to hear you loved the smooth, shiny finish, but we’re truly sorry that the wear didn’t last as expected. That’s definitely not the result we want for our customers.

To help prevent lifting, some customers have found improved wear by applying very thin coats, capping the free edge, and ensuring each layer is fully cured under an LED lamp. Proper prep—like removing oils and keeping the nail surface completely dry—can also make a big difference.
