The BOMB

I've used OPI for years, first the lacquer and then the gel. While I love both, I wanted a middle ground and Infinite Shine fits the bill. I'm hard on my nails but it was time for a break from gel so decided to give Infinite Shine a try with a color that is generally well known - Big Apple Red in a kit with base and top coat. First thing I noticed was that application was no more difficult that typical lacquer and a bit less difficult than gel. I applied a thin base coat, two thin coats of color, and the top coat, as recommended. Dry drops after the top coat had me ready to go in 5-10 minutes. I got a week out of this combo before it was time for a change (ready for different color) with slight wear on the tips of my nails but, again, not surprised as I am very hard on them. I had ordered another color - a neutral pink/beige (something France-y) that applies and wears equally as well. Have ordered two more: a dark blue and bright pink. If they apply and wear as well, will most likely just stick with Infinite Shine rather than typical lacquer or gel. It's that easy and that wearable.
