This is a good flexible hold hairspray.

This is a good flexible hold hairspray. It's definitely strong enough to hold my hard to hold hair but soft enough to look natural. My finished style is a free flowing, tousled, wavy beachy look and it's essential that it has some natural movement. This hairspray holds even when the Florida humidity climbs and even when it rains, but it doesn't make my hair look like beauty pageant hair or like a helmet. It can still move when the wind blows, which is exactly what I want. This hairspray is also very brushable and the waves bounce back to their original position afterward. The hold is invisible, no one would know that I'm wearing hairspray because my hair is still very natural looking and touchable. This hairspray has fast become one of my favorites. I do still love Got2b Mind Blowing Hairspray for very light hold (but still strong) and I also love Carol's Daughter Monoi h/s, which adds shine. But Zero Gravity also works well and I've used it several times now with good results. I now have an arsenal of hairsprays and when I want super firm hold I use either Shaper or TIGI Masterpiece. Both are strong enough to hold the baby hairs around my hairline when I wear an updo and neither one flakes and Masterpiece adds shine (Shaper doesn't). But I like them both. On those days when pageant hair is required, either of these does the job. I try to buy them when Ulta is running a special. I bought Shaper for $7.99 and Masterpiece for $10 during the Christmas sales. Although they are both worth much more, it takes me a while to use them up because I usually use flexible formulas on a daily basis instead of firm hold formulas. The Florida weather is a challenge for any hairspray and these flexible and firm hold formulas have definitely passed the test. If they can hold my resistant hair in Florida, then they will work for you anywhere. I've used Zero Gravity a few times now. Once I use the entire can up, I may decide to edit this review to five lippies but for now, it gets four. It does work for me but I need to test it out in a few different situations to see whether it lives up to its claims. If it does, I'll give it five. However, I definitely recommend it.

I really like this hair spray for hold and finishing however I can't take the smell.

I really like this hair spray for hold and finishing however I can't take the smell. The smell really does stay all day and literally gives me a migraine headache. Had to end up throwing the can away so it was a good thing I bought the small sample can. I have fine hair that is also unruly and can get frizzy/wavy so I'm always looking for good styling products. Guess I will stick to my L'Oreal elnett satin stray and Tresemme hair spray for now.

Despite the smell, which is a total turn off to me, I have purchased this hairspray again and again.

Despite the smell, which is a total turn off to me, I have purchased this hairspray again and again. it keeps my fine hair in place once I've styled it, but lightly. Recently I picked up a can of Sebastian Shaper Spray which was on sale, and when my can of Zero Gravity (the black can one) was done, I just started using the Shaper Spray. I used to use Shaper in the days when it was the stylist's choice, and what a mistake. It doesn't hold my fine hair at all, and if a breeze comes along before I get to work, my hair style is gone! Zero Gravity is pricey but I always find it on sale at Shopper's Drug Mart just picked it up today for about $21 and it lasts for months. If I'm getting the performance I need and want for everyday use, I'll buy it. I have other hairsprays for heavier use, and lighter use, but the one that meets me right in the middle is Zero Gravity Spray. Why they have produced it with such a god-awful smell, I don't know, but I just follow up with a scented shine spray and the smell is gone.

I tried a small can.

I tried a small can. Works nicely, but smells awful. Won't buy again, I'll stick with the tried and true Shaper.

I cannot handle the smell of this hairspray.

I cannot handle the smell of this hairspray. It isn't a pleasant smell and it stays in your hair all day. The smell also stays around my bathroom for hours. Yuck! It is light weight and does an ok job, but will never buy this again.
