Sweater weather is one of my favorite seasons! I love it when boots and hoodies come out as our fashion pieces. This is the only time I enjoy drinking hot drinks because the weather gets so cold like when Elsa was up in her castle. ❄ Winter is a great time to change up your manicure with a new color palette (bring out the glitters!). We want to show you which colors are trending for winter this year so that you can stay trendy and fancy without having to dress up.
White
White is such a simple and chic color but it is the ultimate color for winter time. It reminds us of the fresh fallen snow of the cold winter day. For those who like to keep it simple, this is a great option. The color can be worn by itself or used as a base color for your nail art.
Glitter

You definitely do not have to go just solid for the winter season. This is the time of year when we typically start to see more glitter and metallic shades trending. We encourage you to try them out! Glitter shades are great if you're looking to make your nails the center of attention. Gold glitter has been a popular color for Winter.
Light Pink

OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around
This is a cult favorite to wear during winter because baby pink keeps your nail simple and chic. If you are not into white nail polish then baby pink would be a great alternative.
Silver

Silver is the ultimate color that is perfect for any skin tones. This shade works well if you want to be bold and keep your nails the center of attention. Silver nails also bring back the 2000 vibes! They are making a comeback.
Baby Blue

Baby blue brings back Baby Spice from The Spice Girl, don’t you think? Yeah, The Spice Girls were popular in the early 90s but baby blue is one of the best colors to rock during Winter. As much as people love to stick to the whites, pinks, and shimmer - this is a great pick if you're looking for a subtle pop of color that's not too bold. Essie Love At Frost Sight is an excellent choice. The shimmery finish adds texture and dimension to the final look.

Okay! We haven't forgotten about our classic nude nail colors. We know there are a lot of you who prefer to keep a minimalistic nail look. Taupe is a classic that's great for any season/occasion. Essie Lady Like is a classic nude nail color that works with any outfit. This shade definitely gives us sweater weather vibes.
Although the days are cooling down and we may not want to go out as much during this time of year, you can still have fun with your manicure.
