The Milky Nail Trend has been popular this year, from the classic white, to variations like Strawberry Milk Nails (using a pink color). Pink has been an especially popular color lately (with the Barbiecore aesthetic still going strong and the film to be released soon). Celebrity nail artist Brittany Boyce describes this trend as having the same creamy feel of regular milk bath nails -- just with a pink tint to them. A look like this is popular because it is extremely low maintenance and simple to achieve. Anyone can get the look!

How To Get The Look At Home:

Prep:

1. Use a file to shape the tip of the nail to your desired look.

2. Use a buffer to gently buff the surface of the nail (this will help the polish adhere better)

3. Use an orangewood stick to gently push back the cuticles and remove any excess dead skin.

4. Take a cleanser and a lint-free pad and clean the nail plate, eliminating any excess debris left behind.

Application:

1. Start with a base coat. This not only helps protect the nail, but also helps your manicure last longer. Allow to dry completely.

2. Apply 1-2 coats of your desired polish. The key here is to use a light pink color with a sheer finish, which will create that "milky" effect. Check out some recommendations below!
