How to Apply

Shake bottle to blend. Apply CND Shellac Base Coat and cure for 2 minutes in CND UV Lamp.

I have a love/hate relationship with CND shellac

I have a love/hate relationship with CND shellac. I have used it pretty much exclusively, since doing my own gel polish in the last 10 yrs. It is less damaging to the nails, no argument there. The issue is that each bottle is a crap shoot as to what you will experience. Some bottles arrive already thick and become quickly 'gloppy'. Some colors go on evenly and look great with 2 coats and others are streaky and require 3 coats. I have never, in all this time, ever replaced an empty bottle- they have to be thrown out due to to becoming too thick, or in about 90% of cases, the cap becomes stripped whereby it is impossible to completely seal the cap as it will not secure tightly. For some weird reason, due to no quality control, some bottles will have black flecks or fibers from the first time opened. Some of the polishes will easily last two weeks.THIS particular one, started the " pop-offs" in 2 days! The edges are already all worn in just 4 days, and they look dull and awful, and I will have to do another coat of color and top coat as touch-up in this little time. NOW, before I hear the excuses, I do the exact same prep every single time, using ALL CND products- dehydrator, scrub fresh, base, color, top coat, even my Lamp is by CND and I only use lint free wipes. I will NOT purchase this color again.

This is a reorder for me, 2nd bottle. I love this shade of blue. Not as light as colors like Creekside but not dark either. I will always have a bottle on hand
